Czech Committee of Food Science and Technology
(CCFoST) was established by the decision of the Academic Council - Academy of
Sciences of the Czech Republic on 2nd February 1999. This Committee represents the
insterests of the Czech Republic in the International Union of Food Science and Technology
as an Adhering Body. IUFoST associates more than 60
countries all over the world, Czech Republic was officially incorporated as a IUFoST
member in 1995 on the 9th World Congress of Food Science and Technology in Budapest.
From 1995 to 1999 the Adhering Body was associated with the Faculty of Food and
Biochemical Technology, Institute of Chemical Technology Prague www.vscht.cz.
